The Methodist Church was built in 1886 and the Presbyterian in 1887.

Prior to this, services were held in homes and later the waiting room of the CPR station. The 2 united in 1919 and became a Union Church. Presently Rev. Wayne Sanderson is our minister. He and his wife, Lynne, are very involved with the work of the church.

The UCW are very active with present and former residents taking part.

Suppers, as a fundraisers, are held spring and fall. Support for such comes from young and old members and both present and former residents of the community.

May Alexander United continue into the future to supply worship services and help to all who require its presence in the community.
